I am astonished at the positive reviews for this hastily prepared book that is a trial to use and only marginally useful for its intended purpose as a learning tool for using the RPi "for ham radio activities". Where to start: 1) Explanations of program purposes and functionality are so rudimentary, and in most cases simply confusing, as to be almost useless; in fact, the writing level of the book is that of an elementary school student, with awkward and repetitive conversational mannerisms that make the explanations a chore to read and that add little to your comprehension of them; 2) The "book" uses excessively large type and wide margins to, presumably, justify calling it a book at all; the whole thing could have fit into a 20-page word-processed document; the text seems to be a straight dump of a Kindle version into a paper book, minus, of course, the hyperlinking; as such, 3) There are no page numbers -- whatsoever -- thus making the Table Of Contents less than useful and the book annoying to navigate in a paper format; 4) There are typos everywhere; it is not possible that this work ever passed through a spell-checker (ex: "wekk" for "well", etc.).Despite the glowing reviews below, I found this book to be singularly awful to deal with as a reference, and quite unworthy of the price for its lack of attention to organization, technical detail, and quality of explanation and presentation.

Nice introduction book with working examples
The "code" examples are microscopic. Even a double tap to enlarge them yields small size, and what a pain. Ok book I suppose if you could read it.
